OMG! Absolutely fabulous the staff was so helpful and accommodating. The rooms were just meticulously cleaned and the location can’t be beat right in the heart of Hanalei two minutes to the beach. What a perfect spot I will most definitely be returning.

Hanalei Inn is a quaint and cozy hotel. It consists of just a handful of studio units each with kitchen and bathroom, and lanai., nestled in the Heart of Hanalei. A real Hawaiiana feel and experience. Loved it.

The Hanalei Inn is a pleasant stay close to the beach and the village centre. The room is welcoming and tiny, the kitchen fully equipped, the sitting area cosy, the bed comfortable and I felt in love with the flowered linen. Outside each room has a balcony with chairs, table and umbrella to enjoy good weather conditions. In addition you will find a roofed area to have BBQ and get a welcome meow from the cats. Even it is a bit outdated we really enjoyed our stay, the easy check-in / check-out and the care of the owner. Mahalo for extra pillow and beach towels. We would come again.

Super cute, close to the action, tiled shower, full kitchen, nice and clean, cold AC, basically all you could want. My girlfriend and I spent 4 days at the inn and loved it. It felt local and homey. On top of that there are some hammocks and a grill outside. I'll definitely want to come back with a group to take advantage of all the hangout spots! Michelle was also really responsive and friendly.

Hanalei Inn is very special. The only Inn permitted in Hanalei, its location is a minutes walk from perhaps one of the most stunning beaches in the world, Hanalei Bay; and likewise only a short walk to Big Save (a local economical supermarket) and also to world-class if not world-known restaurants like Postcards or Tahiti Nui. Although one may perceive it as simple, it retains the charm of years gone by; and is very much worth considering if you are looking for something unassuming yet profoundly charming and comfortable (think ceiling fans, but also air conditioning) in northern Kauai.

Yes, the rooms are a little run down but they are cute and have a real authentic Hanalei in the 70’s vibe. They are clean and have full kitchen. The Inn is in an amazing location to the most beautiful surf beach. It is walking distance to all the restaurants, grocery store and farmers market. The bakery close by is an awesome spot for bread and coffee. My partner and I had an amazing time chatting with the caretaker about the surf culture back in the days. Each suite has a patio that gets great sun, we had a nice time cooking tacos outside one night! The property has a lot of plants that add a really chill kauai vibe. Overall would highly recommend for a cheap and chill stay at Hanalei!

The lady who runs it was really nice and gave us a room for 1 night, last minute. Easy booking and check in/out. Clean room with a nice bed. It was very quaint and beachy and a great location. For the price we paid, this was perfect.

After 8 days of camping, backpacking, outdoor showering, dry food and sleeping on the ground, the Hanalei Inn was a wonderful experience to have before flying back home to Utah. We were late for check in, but the woman we spoke on the phone with was incredibly friendly and the on-site manager Phil was extremely welcoming and warm upon our arrival. It is a small inn, so expect to be close to your neighbors, but in our case it worked out fine. Close walk to town, #1-4 seem to be the larger rooms and #5 which is smaller, appeared to be for late notice reservations such as ours. Incredibly quaint and comfortable, would recommend to anyone staying on the north shore!
